our beliefs
About God
We believe in one God who is the creator and sustainer of all things. He has revealed Himself to mankind as the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit) in the New Testament Church. /Duet. 6:4; 1 Tim 3:16
About the Bible
The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It gives us a true history of the creation of heaven, earth, and of mankind. It tells us, correctly, of things to come regarding heaven, earth, and the destiny of mankind. There is no salvation in anything written outside of its pages. /2 Tim 3:16
About Sin
We believe that because of the original sin of Adam and Eve, all of humanity is in a fallen state and in need of salvation as set forth in the Word of God. /Romans 3:23; 6:23
About the gospel
The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel (II Thessalonians 1:8; I Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance (resurrection). /John 3:5; Acts 2:38; Acts 2:4
About Christian Living
We learn from scripture that God has always required a people who have been set-apart for Himself. Leviticus 19:2 states, “You must be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy”. /Titus 2:12
